John Cena recalls working as a chauffeur

Cena was not always interested in becoming a professional wrestler and certainly had a long journey ahead of him before he entered the world of pro-wrestling When John Cena was 19-years-old, he was given a job as a limo chauffeur where he would drive Lincoln town cars to and from Logan Airport. Cena stayed at West Newbury, Massachusetts, Boston.

He was preparing for a bodybuilding competition at that time. While speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, John Cena opened up about his tough life before becoming a professional wrestler. Cena revealed how he was often late as well. He recalled getting verbally abused by the passengers:

“So I was always late, I mean late. I would pick people up two and half hours late for their flight. I earned every single expletive that I was called and I gotta hand it to passengers. They come up with some new stuff that I’d never had heard, and I grew up with four brothers.”

He is a 16-time World Champion and since 2017, he became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. He last competed against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam pay-per-view in a losing effort, and hasn’t been seen since.
