WWE has announced that John Cena will be returning to SmackDown on the February 28th episode of the show. Cena also took to his Twitter to react to this announcement and also made a great joke about it.
This has left fans wondering if this will be a “one-off” appearance or if Cena plans to stick around for a while.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cena’s role at this year’s Mania is already locked in. The report states that Cena has already told the company that he’s free to wrestle at WrestleMania this year.
If this report is true then we might see the former 16-time World Champion finally make his return to the squared circle.
