John Morrison is known by various names and that includes the Mayor of Slamtown. It seems he is serious about the name as he has recently locked down the name.
According to a report by Heel By Nature, Morrison has filed a trademark for Slamtown on November 23rd.
By using his real name John Hennigan, he locked down the name in a way that would make it directly involved with professional wrestling. The following was noted in the filing: “Sports information in the field of wrestling; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests.”
We will have to see what Morrison uses the name for. He is currently partnering up with The Miz and has been having a good time on Friday Night Smackdown.
