Jon Moxley enjoys being a professional wrestler again

The new IWGP United States Champion is giddy over the all the opportunities he has now that he’s out of the WWE. Jon Moxley hasn’t let any time go to waste since his contract expired earlier this year. He quickly joined up with AEW and, along with picking up some new gold in his first match with NJPW, will take part in the company’s G1 Climax later this summer.

As more opportunities arise for him and his schedule continues to fill up, Moxley only continues to get more excited about his career. In a recent interview with TMZ, he stated that he feels like he’s eighteen all over again, and finds himself leaving an event anxiously waiting for his next gig.

The last few weeks, it’s been great just being a professional wrestler again. I just got back from Japan, two successful shows over there for NJPW.

I feel like I’m eighteen again. I’m just chomping at the bit. I just got back from Japan, it’s Monday, and I cannot wait for Friday. I’m like a little kid again. I’m just so excited about the future, man. I could wrestle till I’m 100.

Moxley finished up by thanking his fans who have supported him throughout the years, whether they found him early in his career or while he was in WWE.

It’s not surprising that Jon Moxley is excited about his future. Making a huge splash in AEW back in May, he’s accomplished quite a bit in just a few short months. With the IWGP US Championship around his waist, and a huge one-on-one match against Kenny Omega at AEW’s All Out later this year, things are looking bright for him.
