Jon Moxley Offered Surprising New WWE Deal

Dean Ambrose, at least as a trademark, could be making a return back to WWE! This comes as Jon Moxley ‘Convinces’ A Top WWE Star To Quit. When and how? Let’s find out.

WWE attempted to file a new trademark for the name “Dean Ambrose”, a character previously played by Jonathan Good, better known as Jon Moxley in All Elite Wrestling.

Last October, WWE filed a new application for the name “Dean Ambrose” under the entertainment services classification, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler.

Via Heelbynature, On 3/10, the USPTO issued a review of the filing according to trademark documents obtained by HeelByNature.com. They don’t have Moxley’s consent, so he hasn’t approved the deal.

The jist of the filing is that WWE is trying to trademark “Dean Ambrose.” When I read that, I was reminded of when WWE brought in a new Diesel and Razor Ramon. Yikes, though that probably won’t happen.

Of course, this could also just mean that WWE are planning on releasing something that has to do with the original Dean Ambrose. This can be a documentary, something from the past that featured Dean, or anything related to that.

If WWE is does truly try to bring in a Dean body-double, which is doubtful, this would be an incredibly awkward move. I can’t say I wouldn’t want to see what happens, but I won’t be behind that move.
