During his time in WWE, Jon Moxley was known as Dean Ambrose. He was part of The Shield, alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The trio went onto become arguably one of the most popular groups in the history of WWE.
However, Moxley parted ways with WWE back in 2019, effectively ending any chance of the Shield reforming.
Jon Moxley recently spoke on a B/R AMA, where he revealed if he still keeps in touch with his former Shield stablemates. Moxley noted that he still talks to both Rollins and Roman Reigns occasionally.
Moxley then talked about how all members of the stable are busy with their own personal lives and hobbies. He then said that the great thing about pro wrestling is that it is ”never goodbye” but ”see you along the way.”
“Very occasionally [speak to Reigns and Rollins]. Seth [and Becky Lynch had a] kid, so that’s cool. You just get in this world and you get really busy, especially in a pandemic world, everyone is in their own little bubbles. That’s the good thing about wrestling: it’s never goodbye, it’s just see you along the way. When you go through certain things with people, you’re always bonded.”
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch recently celebrated the birth of their first daughter. Jon Moxley is also expecting his first child with his wife Renee Paquette. Roman Reigns already has a family and is currently the WWE Universal Champion.
