According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Moxley is “likely” to face a top NJPW talent at AEW All Out in September. Meltzer said Moxley recently talked with AEW President Tony Khan about working with a top NJPW talent and Meltzer believes the match is being planned for AEW All Out pay-per-view.

Moxley appeared on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite and called out Hiroshi Tanahashi, who appeared earlier on the program in a video package where he challenged for the IWGP United States Title. Archer successfully defended the IWGP US Title against Hikuleo on the latest edition of Dynamite. After the show, a match between Archer and Tanahashi was made official for NJPW Resurgence that is set to take place on August 14.

AEW All Out is scheduled for September 5 in Chicago. Moxley is still not officially announced for the event.
