Deadline reports that Jon Moxley is currently booked to star in an upcoming film called Cagefighter. The movie is currently in pre-production.
The story will see an MMA champion who loses a heavily promoted fight to a pro wrestling star making a crossover into MMA. After being humiliated at the hands of the pro wrestling star, the MMA fighter must earn his way back to the top of the sport.
This film will feature real-life MMA fighter Josh Herdman, Michael Jei White, Gina Gershon, Michelle Ryan, and Jason Maza. Moxley will go by his real name, Jonathan Good.
