Jon Moxley lost his title at AEW All Out, but what ensued after the AEW All Out Media Scrum may have jeopardized the former champion’s six-week vacation. The former title holder doesn’t have any regrets about fighting Sammy Guevera in the Semi-finals of the AEW Championship tournament on AEW Dynamite to claim the title that was his before things went off hand at AEW All Out.
Jon isn’t too happy about the changes and thinks that this caused his vacation to get held. Robert Anthony is Moxley’s friend since the CZW days. He also appeared at AEW All Out as Jon Moxley’s sparring partner ahead of the World Title main event against CM Punk.
Moxley was supposed to be on vacation during the 9/7 episode of Dynamite. The change of plans held his vacation, and he is not too happy about it. Robert talked about it on The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast and said the two had planned to go fishing. He praised Moxley’s promo last Wednesday.
So he’s [Jon Moxley] doing good. Man, he’s supposed to be on vacation, six weeks. We were gonna go fishing. Now he’s back to work, he’s not too happy about it but…
I enjoyed his match at the pay-per-view but, he’s pissed off and he’s back at work and he cut a hell of a promo on Wednesday and we’ll see where it goes, you know what I mean? It’s just a lot of negatives in the positives over there I feel like.

While the fans are unanimous about Jon Moxley, one would have to see if that’s a good choice or does it mean that the company will swerve the fans with a different champion than their choice. We cannot confirm who would be the one to step into the final match of this tournament. The other person to join them will be the winner of the Chris Jericho vs Bryan Danielson match, which also happens this week on AEW Dynamite.
Who do you think should be in the finals and be crowned the new AEW Champion? Sound off in the comments.
