WWE debuted a new NXT Cruiserweight Championship before Worlds Collide started. Now a new champion was crowned during the event.
Angel Garza defended his title against Jordan Devlin, Isaiah ”Swerve” Scott and Travis Banks in a fatal four-way match. After an intense match, it was Devlin who came out on top. Towards the end of the match, Devlin hit Garza with a huge headbutt and took him out of action. Then, he hit Scott with a Devlin-side for the win.
After his win, he cut a promo where he said he was the best pound-for-pound wrestler on the roster. This marks Jordan’s first reign as NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
