Charlotte Flair announced for upcoming WWE event

Charlotte Flair is set to join two other notable WWE stars at an event in Queens, New York. Multi-time women’s champion Charlotte Flair last competed inside a WWE ring at Backlash against Ronda Rousey. ‘The Queen’ lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship and has missed several months of action.

During her absence, she appeared as a guest on Broken Skull Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin and became engaged to AEW’s Andrade El Idolo. While it remains unclear when the Queen will return to WWE, she is being advertised for an event alongside other notable WWE female stars.

The Fitter Sports Twitter account announced that Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair would attend the Entertainment and Sports Expo in Queens, New York, on November 12th. In addition to all three women appearing, Flair’s father, The Nature Boy Ric Flair, will headline the event. Some rumors suggest she may be ready to challenge one of the women’s champions at WrestleMania 39.

It has been also noted that Michelle Green believes WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix and Charlotte Flair are two of the best wrestlers in recent WWE history. In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta, Green praised former OVW star Phoenix as an in-ring competitor. She also mentioned that Flair is her favorite wrestler:

“I think all the female pro wrestlers have created something, especially Beth Phoenix,” Green said. “She’s very strong, extremely talented, and just a force to be reckoned with in the ring. Something that always strikes me is that often people ask, ‘Who’s your favorite wrestler?’ When I mention my favorite wrestler, in this case Charlotte Flair, people go, ‘Well, but who is your male favorite wrestler?’ but it doesn’t have to be like that. You can have your preference of course out of everyone.”
