Former WWE star Kairi Sane recently took to her Instagram account and posted a picture seemingly topless. However, in the caption she clarified:

Don’t worry, I’m wearing!🤣💪🏻”
Dakota Kai and IYO Sky want to see KAIRI back in WWE. The former Kairi Sane captured the NXT Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship during her time in WWE before departing in 2020.
However, she still has friends in the company, and at least two of them want to see her back in WWE and beside them as another member of Damage CTRL.
Speaking with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo ahead of WrestleMania 39, Dakota Kai and IYO Sky named KAIRI as one wrestler they want to see make a return to the company, with IYO remarking that the former Kairi Sane is one of her best friends.
“We miss her,” said Dakota.
Regarding KAIRI joining the group, IYO pointed to the open space between her and Dakota, “Here is pretty much open. We have to ask Bayley. Let’s figure it out.”
Meanwhile, in an interview, KAIRI noted that she wants to compete in another Royal Rumble one day and hopes to get another opportunity to be a Women’s Champion on the WWE main roster.
Speaking with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo, the former NXT Women’s Champion noted that not only does the WWE Universe still think of her fondly, but several wrestlers ask her if she’s coming back for the Royal Rumble every year. KAIRI noted, through a translator, that competing in the Royal Rumble is something she wants to do.
Whether or not the door is open for her return, KAIRI said that Vince McMahon told her the door is always open for her to come back. If she were to return, KAIRI says that she would like to team up with Asuka again and possibly even team up with or wrestle IYO Sky.
“Vince said the door is always open, you’re always welcome to come back. If she comes back one day, she would love to team up with Asuka again, team up with IYO Sky, or maybe even go against IYO Sky. Who knows?”
