It’s no secret at this point that Vince McMahon is a fan of Lucha House Party. The 205 Live stable recently began working Raw as well, and have repeatedly taken on, and defeated, The Revival under “Lucha House Rules.”
Last night, this trend continued with LHP taking on Scott Dawson in a 3-on-1 Lucha House Rules match.
When Stone Cold Steve Austin brought Kalisto on as a guest for The Steve Austin Show, Kalisto revealed just how highly the Chairman thought of the group, and even suggested a unique idea for a multi-man ladder match.
Creative started to get on board with everything, especially Vince. Vince got on board with everything, ‘Oh, Lucha House Party, you guys do some amazing, crazy stuff, man.’ I’m like, ‘Hey Vince, we just want to have fun. If you want action, you want some cool stuff, we’ll give you good stuff and there’s stuff you haven’t seen yet.’
Vince is like, ‘Oh man, do you know that Money in the Bank briefcase? How about we put a big ass piñata there and we put the titles in there?’ I was like, ‘Oh, that’s an awesome idea!’
So don’t be surprised if we see a piñata match of some kind in the future. It could even be for the Raw Tag Team Titles.
