Kamaru Usman maybe facing a tough situation with UFC returning to the United Kingdom in March, 2023. The event is slated to take place on March 18th and will be a full pay per view inside the O2 arena in London, England.
Leon Edwards was the possible opponent to Kamaru Usman, but it looks like Kamaru Usman would be out of action at that time. MMA enthusiast and news specialist Grabaka Hitman talked about how Kamaru appeared at an MMA event in Lagos, Nigeria with a brace on his hand.

Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson raised the speculations when on the Fred Talks Fighting podcast he shared that there are talks with Leon Edwards on the possible opponent. According to the quotes from the podcast, Jorge Masvidal is a possible opponent in the list.
People are in-talks of me fighting Leon Edwards. I know Kamaru Usman is having hand surgery, I know they want to fight somebody in March and they were looking at Jorge Masvidal. He’s a standup fighter, so it kind of inspires me a bit, our division is so wrestler-heavy, and Leon Edwards is a striker and he’s champ.
Fred Breck tweeted about it, which was squashed by Kamaru Usman’s manager saying it is fake news. There is no news on whether the match will take place or if the bout will be replaced with something else as Usman is tight-lipped about the entire situation.
