Karrion Kross suffers separated shoulder at NXT TakeOver: XXX

The new NXT Champion is already potentially looking at an immediate future on the NXT injury list.

After the milestone NXT TakeOver: XXX live special event featuring Karrion Kross winning the NXT Championship by defeating Keith Lee in the main event wrapped up on the WWE Network on Saturday night, “The Godfather of NXT” Triple H hosted his usual post-show media conference call.

During his post-show media call, “The Game” confirmed that Kross suffered an injury, believed to be a separated shoulder, in the middle of his title-winning performance in the headline bout of the evening against “Limitless” Lee at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

According to Triple H, Kross’ exact condition is not yet completely clear, and the new NXT Champion is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury and noted that WWE will react accordingly once they know the full scope of the situation.

HHH also praised Kross for getting through the match and working against a big guy in his condition, complimenting Lee as well and calling him a good locker room leader for helping to get the new title-holder to the finish-line in style.

We will keep you posted here at wrestling-edge.com as updates regarding the injury status of the new NXT Champion Karrion Kross continue to surface.
