Karrion Kross became the NXT Champion after defeating Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver: XXX. However, he suffered a separated shoulder during the match and was forced to relinquish the title. He had been undergoing physical rehabilitation since then and it seems his return could be soon.
It was earlier reported that Kross is set to make a comeback at any time, as revealed by Triple H. During NXT TakeOver: WarGames, following Dexter Lumis defeating Cameron Grimes in a strap match, the announce team were ready to talk about the next match.
Then suddenly the screen started showing cryptic scenes with vultures and ticking clocks. Then Karrion Kross’ voice could be heard as he said “Tick Tock.”
It seems he will be coming back very soon.
