Braxton hosts the ever-popular WWE Friday Night SmackDown after-show entitled Talking Smack and recently caught up with Rick Boogs and former Royal Rumble winner & WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. She asked them to share their thoughts on the events that transpired earlier in the evening. Boogs was delighted with the win over Jey Uso. Here’s what Rick Boogs had to say:
“Listen to the six-string ax smashed over my shoulder, it was a doozy. It hurt a little bit. But nothing is going to trump the sensation of being victorious.”
He also revealed how they had planned to get ready for their WrestleMania matchup and talked about their camaraderie.
“Have you seen our team dynamics? We’ve surfed, we’ve hiked, we’ve explored the great outdoors. This made us close. We are a solid unit. I think we just go back and maybe mountain bike, watch birds, something like that. It’s called roughening in the great outdoors. It puts hair on your chest,” said Boogs.
Boogs and Nakamura are set to challenge The Usos for the WWE SmackDown Tag-Team titles at WrestleMania 38 which will take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally.
