WWE recently adveritsed that Eva Marie would be having her first match in several years against former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi on this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. That was not the case as while Marie appeared on camera, she didn’t see a single second of action, with Piper Niven appearing at the side of the infamous WWE female star and winning the match in mere moments. This Keith Lee ‘cancelation’ news recently stunned WWE fans.
While the WWE universe was irate over the alleged ‘mistreatment’ of Naomi, some fans would apparently take it to the next level by body-shaming Niven and commenting negatively on her size. Keith Lee’s signficant other, Mia Yim would come to the defense of Niven, who appeared on Raw without being identified by spitting verbal venom against those who would target Niven based on her looks.
Taking to social media via Twitter, the one-time Retribution member stated: “The body shaming is disgusting. Y’all bold behind the screens. It costs nothing to be kind.”
Felllow WWE fans would respond to Yim’s tweet as one fellow Twitter user named @TomKAlt_ said: “Piper is incredible, it’s really annoying that the commentary team buried the entirety of NXT UK. piper was one of the top women over here and they’re treating her like a complete unknown”
