On the latest episode of the “Nitty Gritty Dirt Show” on RussosBrand.com, host Billi Bhatti and former WWE writer Vince Russo, discussed how top WWE star Keith Lee was rumored to have missed Raw due to possible COVID exposure, though it isn’t confirmed if he or his girlfriend Mia Yim actually tested positive. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Bhatti’s comments below.
Bhatti: As they are a couple, they both needed to go and we will probably find out by Monday which one out of the two had it and which one had to isolate because of it.
Because of when WWE do their COVID tests, one of them will be OK to be on TV this week – unless one gave it to the other and things have changed within the last week or so. I haven’t been given any other information about that.
Bhatti continued:
Bhatti: Talking about their COVID protocols – and I’ve explained this on Castrating The Marks, WWE who we apparently always slag off, are paying these guys to come in forty-eight hours early and isolate.
Which is confusing because if there was a twenty-four hour COVID test, they would do that instead. However, perhaps that’s an expensive test to buy or perhaps there are issues with the government or whoever sources out those particular tests.
