Keith Lee reveals Vince McMahon punched him in the jaw once

Before making a name for himself in NXT, Keith Lee was used as an extra in WWE, as many other Superstars before him have been as well. It seems Lee has an interesting story to tell during his time as an extra.

During the March 30, 2009 episode of WWE RAW, Legacy and the McMahon’s were engaged in a feud. Triple H, Shane McMahon, and Vince McMahon were all making their way to the ring. Vince McMahon fought against a younger Keith Lee, where he would fall to the ground after one punch from McMahon.

McMahon was visibly puzzled as he had no one else to fight with during the brawl, so he kicked someone else. Then Triple H and Shane McMahon attacked Keith Lee.

During his new 24 WWE Network special, Lee revealed that he was instructed to fall during the brawl. Vince McMahon legitimately punched him in the jaw, but Lee is now certain they were joking with him.

“Someone came up to me and was like if you’re getting punched by Vince McMahon, you need to go down. I’m like, hey no problem! And I’m pretty sure that whoever that was played a joke on me because the moment that the McMahons came down and Vince McMahon jawed me and when I say he jawed me, he JAWED me. So I go down and he looks confused. Of course! Why would the 300-pound dude go down from one punch? And when they were done with the others, it was like there was no way we’re done with the big guy! So they picked me up and I was like ‘What did I do to deserve this?!’”
