AEW’s partnership with Impact Wrestling has effectively started a huge change in the world of professional wrestling. Kenny Omega appeared during this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
During the episode, he made his intentions clear as he referred to himself as a belt collector during his Impact appearance. It seems he has his sights set on the Impact World Title somewhere down the line.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about AEW and Impact Wrestling’s agreement. He said that the current plan is for them to give Omega as many titles as possible. He is currently the AEW World Champion and AAA Mega Champion. He would not be surprised if Impact Wrestling gives him the Impact World Title.
While nothing is finalized as of yet, it is possible that fans will get to see Kenny Omega square off against Rich Swann for the Impact World Championship.
