Kenny Omega has been making all the headlines since he won the AEW Championship. With the title changing hands for the first time since Moxley won it, Omega and Don Callis made a radical announcement on AEW. They said that they were going to IMPACT Wrestling, and there they would make their intent clear.
On this week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Kenny Omega was true to his words. Don Callis and Omega were in a backstage interview with Josh Matthews on IMPACT. The interview took place on Omega’s bus and kicked off with Callis switching Moxley’s name-plate on the title with Omega’s.

Following this, Callis referred to his work in IMPACT Wrestling as part of a multi-step process to get Omega to the top of the ladder again.
“Some people make matches. Some people like to make memories. Kenny Omega and Don Callis, we make history.”
Omega also revealed why he was at IMPACT Wrestling and implied that he wanted Rich Swann’s IMPACT World Championship. Omega also revealed that he would make an important announcement on AEW Dynamite. Omega was making references to the Lex Express, a bus that WWE had for Lex Luger for touring the country. For now, it’s unlikely that AEW is going down that path, given that it failed, but his announcement on Dynamite should reveal more.

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer has revealed that there might be another ‘major’ episode of AEW Dynamite before the end of the year.
