As expected, as one of the Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling, Kenny Omega has come under some criticism after capturing the AEW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Jon Moxley at this week’s AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming special on TNT.
Omega fired back at a fan who was critical of his victory in the title match on the show advertised as the biggest in company history.
“You’ve got it all wrong,” Omega wrote. “I’m just a lowly Executive Best Wrestler of all time. That’s kinda why I win everything everywhere. That’s how life works.”
The fan then responded to Omega’s comments noting that he feels someone in his position of power should not be world champion of the company.
Omega shot back again.
“The only power I have is to make you cry,” wrote the new AEW World Champion.
