Kenny Omega teased for AEW in the new episode of Being the Elite?

As reported earlier, Kenny Omega has officially left New Japan Pro-wrestling. The Cleaner dropped his IWGP Championship to Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 13 earlier this week.

However, the big question on everyone’s minds following this was – Where will Kenny Omega go next?

Some rumours were making rounds on the internet stating that the WWE had offered Omega a big money deal and that it was hard to reject. These rumours got people speculating that Omega will end up signing with the WWE.

However, in an interesting turn of events, the newest episode of the Elite’s Youtube series “Being the Elite” has spiced things up.

Towards the end of the show, while bidding Marty Scurll farewell, Kenny Omega mentioned that he had “lost his phone”. Surprisingly, at the very end, it is shown that Omega’s phone is lying outside the Tokyo Dome with a ticking sound running in the background.

For those familiar with Being the Elite would understand what this means. However, for those unaware, the Elite ran a four-month-long gag where a timer appeared on all of their cell phones which eventually resulted in them announcing the birth of All Elite Wrestling.

Therefore, this teaser could be seen as an indication as to where Omega will be going next, which in this case could be All Elite Wrestling.
