Kevin Owens AEW Debut Date Revealed?

While it’s speculative at most whether or not Kevin Owens could be ‘All Elite’ in the near future, it appears that the former WWE Universal Champion will be reportedly leaving WWE. In addition, it is now being reported when the exact date Owens’ contract will expire. Kevin Owens recently called out this WWE firing.

According to French reporter, Pat Laprade, Owens’ current WWE contract will end on January 31st.

“I am able to confirm that the contract of Quebec wrestler Kevin Owens does indeed end in January 2022, on January 31 to be precise.” He’d be eligible to debut on AEW Dynamite on February 2, 2022.

In other news regarding Kevin Owens, during an interview with Comicbook.com, the former Universal Champion discussed if NXT should have matches represented on Raw and SmackDown pay-per-view events. Credit to the outlet for the below.

“As far as the pay-per-views go, though, I actually don’t think NXT should be added to the current pay-per-views, because there’s already so little spots on the pay-per-views, and there’s so many guys and girls, on Raw and SmackDown, that deserve a spot,” Owens answered. “If you add the NXT on top of it, it’s going to be tricky to fit everybody, unless we go back to the six hour marathons we used to have. The NXT Takeovers are really successful, and really great. You know, I wouldn’t mind seeing one or two more of those every year, so that, like I said, there’s also a pretty deep roster in NXT. A lot of guys and girls deserve spotlights there, as well.
