Kevin Owens injured at Monday Night RAW

As reported earlier, Bobby Lashley turned heel on Monday Night RAW and decimated Kevin Owens, whose legs were stuck in-between a ring pole.

WWE now reports that Lashley “injured” Kevin Owens during his beatdown. Here’s the statement that provided regarding the situation:

Kevin Owens sustained injuries to both knees when Bobby Lashley viciously wrapped Owens’ legs around a turnbuckle after their match, can confirm.

Owens will undergo further evaluation tomorrow to determine the full extent of the damage.

Stay with as new details surrounding Owens’ condition become available.

It is worth noting that this injury could very well be a part of the storyline but there’s also an equal amount of chance that the injury is real.

We’ll keep you updated on the situation as more information is revealed by the WWE.

Your kidding, right? I don’t base my perspective off of “appearance” alone. I couldn’t care less about that physical crap. His ‘in ring” ability needs work, his mic skills are lacking and his rope running needs more work. Other than that, he needs to ultimately be “repackaged”.

So what about Kevin Owens other than his appearance because everyone wants to complain about people’s appearance, would you change

  • Soulshroude

Yes, we do. Though K.O. is just a “sammy zayne” or a “James Elsworth” in my book.

  • blkwolf13

Wow really? I thought he does pretty good on the mic and wrestling did you see that athletic ability from a rather round man? You’ve got to be kidding me. WWE fans must always find something to complain about

Hopefully he can be written off and go to Smackdown where he won’t be crapped on

  • Soulshroude

    Finally, no more Owens.

Nice work. Looks like Kevin gets a vacation for a week or 2.

The beat down on Owens was a bit random as you rarely have a heel turn with a baby face beating a heel down to do the switch. The only way that usually happens is if there is a double switch.
I did wonder last night whether this was a way of writing Owens off tv due to injury.

I do doubt that Lashley injured him anyway.

Will have to wait and see if he really does have knee issues or if it is just storyline.
One thing I do hope though, is this is not the start of a face turn. Owens is popular because he is a perfect heel, much the same as Elias. Turning either of them face would not be good just because fans cheer them.
