The WWE has been airing vignettes for the return of the Prize Fighter, Kevin Owens, and many expected to see him back around the Royal Rumble. However, some reports are claiming that we won’t see the former Universal Champion until after WrestleMania 35.
While some expect to see Owens return soon to ignite a feud with Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley, who took Owens out of action back in 2018, the WWE may decide to hold off on that feud for a few months.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated that the WWE may attempt to keep Kevin Owens away from TV until after the company’s biggest show of the year.
It’s unknown what the reasoning behind this would be. However, the WWE has gotten used to making the Raw and SmackDown after Mania full of surprises, debuts, and returns, so it wouldn’t be surprising.
