Kevin Owens names the dream opponent he wants to face in WWE

At the moment, Kevin Owens is busy with his feuds with Aleister Black and Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend.

Speaking to Bleacher Report ahead of WWE Draft 2020, the host of The KO Show revealed the names he would absolutely love to face in the WWE ring and also recalled his favorite rivalries till date.

Kevin Owens on his ultimate dream feuds

There are quite a few names on the list of people Owens would love to face. Universal Champion Roman Reigns is at the top of the list. The two had a feud previously over the Universal title which culminated in their No Holds Barred match at 2017 Royal Rumble.

But Owens thinks it would be even more interesting in 2020, now that both of them have different characters.

“It’s easy to say because it’s the top star and he’s the champion, so who wouldn’t want to work with him? But Roman’s new identity or whatever you want to call it. I always thought me versus Roman in the proper setting could be really interesting, and the proper setting is, more than ever, now that he’s embraced his awesome Tribal Chief persona. I think me being pretty much the complete opposite of him would be an interesting clash.”

Current and former WWE Champions Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton are also on the list. Owens said he had only two opportunities to appear on television with The Scottish Psychopath and never really worked a storyline with The Viper either. He would love to do that sometime in the future.

On his favorite feuds

Owens revealed that working with Sami Zayn was always the best experience for him. The two have shared the ring a lot of times on NXT, RAW, and SmackDown. But he admits that it would always be hard to top his initial matches with someone of the caliber of John Cena.

“Anything I got to do with Sami [was my favorite]. We bring out the best in each other. Obviously starting out with John Cena and having that series of matches, that’s the thing about it. It’s kind of hard to top that kind of stuff starting out that way, so it’s been a struggle to climb that mountain back because I kind of started there. That’s something I really look fondly back on for sure.”

Kevin Owens faced The Fiend on this week’s WWE SmackDown and lost. The rivalry started when Owens went to SmackDown couple weeks ago to welcome Alexa Bliss to his talk show.

He asked her about The Fiend, and Bray Wyatt showed up in his deviant persona a few moments later to pin him down with a mandible claw.
