Kevin Owens, WWE SmackDown star was recently involved in a special Q&A session with WWE India. He was questioned about his debut on Monday Night RAW against John Cena back in 2015.
Kevin Owens opens up on main roster debut
When Owens made his main roster debut, he was the NXT Champion at that point of time. John Cena was then the United States Champion and to everyone’s shock, Owens made a stunning debut on RAW.
He had responded to John Cena’s United States Championship open challenge. He had received a huge pop from the fans.

Owens defeated Cena in clean finish at WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 and once again made a surprising moment for the fans.
During the Q&A session he reflected on his debut. He said:
“So that moment with John Cena is always gonna be something I remember very fondly because I wasn’t just making my debut on RAW, I was making my debut with the absolute top face of the company. So, that was pretty incredible and it was, in a way, the beginning of my career on the main roster. But I was already having such a special year up to that point. I had won the NXT Championship, I had made my debut on live events for WWE and all that stuff. So, it just kept the ball rolling and it was a really huge moment, for me, for my family, for my career, everything. Unforgettable!”
He is currently eyeing to re-capture the WWE Universal Championship which is held by Roman Reigns. They will collide at upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view.
