Kevin Owens reveals why he changed his WWE ring attire

In the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens wrestled Dolph Ziggler to qualify for the SmackDown men’s Survivor Series elimination tag team match. Owens defeated Ziggler, but while doing so, he wrestled in jeans, something that he has been doing over the last few weeks.

A fan noticed that Kevin Owens changed his usual ring attire over the last few weeks in WWE. He reached out to him on Twitter to ask if there was a specific reason for Owens making the change. Owens had a humorous reply for the fan and told him that he was trying to work towards wearing jorts, as one of the successful wrestlers of all time wore it — John Cena.

Owens revealed that he wanted to wear jorts in the ring as it would make him similar to John Cena. His reply was naturally meant in good humor, but he has also started to wear jeans in the ring regularly. It will be interesting to see whether he wears jorts in a WWE ring at any point in the future.

“One of the most successful wrestlers of all time wore jorts for most of his career. I’m trying to subtly get there. First, I wear shorts for years. Then I wear jeans for years. Then, one day, BOOM! JORTS! Except this way, nobody notices anything out of the ordinary when I do.”

Prior to the WWE Draft, Kevin Owens was in a feud against The Fiend and Aleister Black, but he may head towards a different direction.
