In an interview that was taken before the SummerSlam PPV and before he decided to quit the company, Kevin Owens revealed which star he wants to face at WrestleMania.
Owens had talked to CBS Local Sports just before the Biggest Party Of The Summer and when asked about his desired WrestleMania opponent, the former Universal Champion took the name of Finn Balor:
“There’s so many guys I wish I could wrestle, but if it was up to me, whatever I would do would lead to me and Finn Bálor at WrestleMania next year, because he and I came to WWE the exact same time, He’s been my best friend ever since, so I’d love to share the ring with him on that stage in WrestleMania.”
As noted before, Kevin Owens apparently quit the company this past Monday Night on Raw after losing in an Intercontinental Championship match against Seth Rollins.
After this people were speculating that he could be paired with Paul Heyman upon his return but these rumors turned out to be false and there is no news on what the company is planning for him next.
