Kevin Owens has made it widely known that he wants to make a WrestleMania moment by climbing and jumping off the famed pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa Bay, Florida, home of the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, this desire appears to be highly unlikely as taking to social media via Twitter, Owens stated that he has his doubts about scaling the massive structure. This is due to the way that the WrestleMania 37 set has been constructed. Owens’ own words on Twitter said it all as he stated: “This is going to be quite the challenge…” Kevin Owens disrespected this top AEW name backstage.
Members of the WWE Universe took to Twitter to respond to Owens’ post and voice their opinion on it. @FournierCarol1 echoed Owens’ own doubts by stating: “Yeah… that’s just too high, man. Even if you would jump from the top of the LED (which is the bottom of the boat)… it would still be too high and you would probably kill yourself. You’re not God. Foley is God.” Where as @BrothaMonty proclaimed: “Don’t do anything hasty and jumping off the ship… actually… do it… just don’t die on us Kevin lol.”
In a separate tweet, Owens addressed former rival and AEW star Chris Jericho listing Owens as one of his favorite WrestleMania opponents, to which Owens tweeted: ““Shawn Michaels and Kevin Owens” is also the answer to “Who are your 2 favorite wrestlers?” if someone asked my mom that question. Well, her first answer would probably be “Quoi? J’comprends pas…Terry, quessé qu’y dit?” because she doesn’t speak English.”
Owens will face Sami Zayn, with Logan Paul in his corner during night two of WrestleMania. WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Kevin Owens told this WWE writer to ‘bury’ a top Smackdown star.
