Khabib ‘Can’t Appear’ On Joe Rogan For Sad Reason

Khabib Nurmagomedov was asked if he’ll go on Joe Rogan’s Show in a new Facebook Q&A, Wrestling-Edge transcribed his response. Sadly, Khabib feels his English isn’t up to par, but when it is, he will go on the Joe Rogan Experience.

He said, “Yes I would. He asked a couple times. I really want to go there. But before I go there, I want to be ready. I want to improve my English a little bit more to explain to people what I have in my mind. In Russian I can say what I feel, and what I want to say, but in English I have a burier.

When I’m ready, I’ll let him know. DC, one day he said, let’s go to TV, this was on FOX, but I told him, ‘This is a little bit hard for me, to talk in English.'” Cormier told him his story was interesting, and his broken English was ‘interesting.’ Khabib said it was the first time he realized he had to connect to people in English.

The Eagle had retired from MMA undefeated as the undisputed UFC lightweight champion after he defended the title successfully for the third time against Justin Gaethje in October 2020. Francis Ngannou ‘Forced To Delay’ UFC Fight

During an Eagle FC 37 press conference he was asked whether he would return if his teammate and #9-ranked lightweight contender Islam Makhachev would lose in a potential title fight, Nurmagomedov disproved it.

He said:

“I don’t think anything will change. Islam Makhachev has his own way, I have mine. If Islam fails, he is capable of taking care of himself. But we will be next to him to help and never let him fall. As for myself, I don’t have any desire to come back, and I don’t think I ever will”.

Nurmagomedov is arguable one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time after and retired after a unblemished 29-0 record and 13 of those wins were in the UFC. He also had three successful title defences as the UFC lightweight champion.
