Ah, yes, the war that never ends between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. We could go on for days about this feud, but we will cut to the chase since we all know the story. Now that we are past the octagon wars, Khabib wants to bring that back as he is now not only disrespecting the octagon, but the people inside of it as well. Khabib Nurmagomedov recently made it clear (despite warning he didn’t want to “offend anyone.”) that he feels that the UFC ring girls are useless. This made a lot of people, including Conor McGregor and the ring girls pretty mad at these statements.
Khabib said: “I think they’re the most useless people in martial arts. What function? How? Do they develop the sport? Or do they help people to see that it is the second round now? What are they doing? Tell me, please. I realize that is a history (behind ring card girls). History knows many mistakes. We read history to avoid mistakes of the past in the future. If we look in the history, it says they are useless. That is my personal opinion.
Khabib closed: “[UFC president] Dana White maybe likes it. Maybe you do, too. But my name is not Dana. My name is Khabib.”
These statements grew stale quickly as McGregor took to Twitter to post a meme based on the Simpsons which depicts Khabib and two ring girls as Khabib is seen crying. Brittney Palmer re-tweeted the meme and said: “Hahahah sorry not sorry!”
This wasn’t it for McGregor bashing Khabib as a video was shared of the sucker punch heard around the world as McGregor stated on the video: “Fell into me for a hug he did. The usual out of them.”
Justin Gaethje is an honest man and he only tells it like it is. When asked about why he doesn’t feel that Conor would accept a battle with him, Justin simply said: “Because, I don’t think he’ll fight. You know, if once or twice and it won’t be guys like me. It will be guys like Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, you know, favorable matchups.”
