Khabib Reveals Why Conor McGregor Quit UFC Fight

Khabib Nurmagomedov is not pulling any punches or headlocks when it comes to what he has to say about when he made Conor McGregor tap out three years ago in the infamous fight that ended in a slew of controversy. Khabib had some big words to say about the former double champ as he called him ‘easy’. Michael Bisping Reveals Jon Jones ‘Punishment’ News.

Khabib Nurmagomedov said about getting Conor McGregor to tap out: “If I’m gonna be honest, it was not easy. But only one thing I don’t expect is like, he tapped very easy. Honestly, I’m gonna be honest. I just catch him and he tap. You know, it was like, you bring like 20,000 people from Ireland to Vegas to support you. And in front of everybody, you tap. It’s like, this one (was easy). Other one – fight, like fighter, like skills – He was good. You know, I feel he was preparing for defense on my wrestling, grappling, like everywhere. But the way how he tap it showed his weakness.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov makes some points here. He knew that Conor had a weak cardio game. This has been known through McGregor’s career. While that doesn’t take away from Conor’s overall skills, it is a weak point and once you get him into a choke, he will struggle pretty horribly with it.
