Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, ‘The New Day’ lost their WWE Raw tag team championships last night during night one of WWE WrestleMania 37 to the tag team of ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles and Omos. Taking to social media via Twitter, the former WWE Champion reacted to the loss with the following message to his fans and fellow members of the WWE Universe. Kingston would proclaim on the social media platform: “Welp….But It was still amazing though. So so amazing! F-ing PEOPLE!!! Thank you! #WrestleMania.” Kingston’s long-time ally Big E will be defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship tonight during night two of WWE WrestleMania 37 against Apollo. Kofi Kingston recently reacted to this ‘burial’ of a top WWE Raw superstar.
In other news regarding Kofi Kingston, recently inducted members of the WWE Hall of Fame, the Bella Twins commented on the advice that the leader of ‘KofiMania’ gave them in the past during a recent edition of the WWE Hall of Fame Diaries. Credit to SportsKeeda for the below quote.
“Just some of the things you would tell us in the advice, but you’re rare. And there are some people that.. and you’ve never changed. We always talk about it… a lot of people actually talk about it. Like Kofi’s been one person who’s never changed. He’s the same person from day one. But that really helped Nicole and I. We’re just so grateful for you and so thankful. Because you have no idea what it did for us”.
