Kofi Kingston Shoots On Ali For ‘Losing His Spot’

Kofi Kingston experienced the best run of his career, which saw him beating Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35. However, initial plans did not consider Kingston in this role as reports had suggested Mustafa Ali was going to receive that push and spot.

Unfortunately, Ali suffered an injury in a match against Randy Orton before the Elimination Chamber, which led to Kingston taking his place. Ali certainly has not forgotten that fact.

Currently, Kofi Kingston is out with a jaw injury and on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Ali cut a promo on Kingston, where he mentioned how Kingston took his spot in the 2019 Elimination Chamber.

“I pray to go almighty that your broken jaw keeps you out of the Royal Rumble and I hope you cannot make it to the Elimination Champion and I hope you miss WrestleMania for that and then you can know exactly how I felt sitting at home watching someone take what’s yours.”

Kofi Kingston took to Twitter, where he decided to respond to Ali’s words by uploading a video. Kingston was surprised Ali held onto so much hate and vitriol towards him for two years, as he feels he took his WrestleMania title win spot. Internet reports suggested Ali would beat Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35.

Kingston then added that instead of going after the person who injured Ali in the first place, he decided to blame Kingston, which makes no sense to him.

Kingston ended it by saying he will address this issue with Ali, and that Ali lost his mind.
