A lot of fans were disappointed with the way Kofi Kingston lost his WWE Championship and according to the former Champion himself, the loss was ‘disheartening’.
Kingston recently had an interview with Alex McCarthy of Talk Sport where he talked about a number of things including his long championship reign and more.
While discussing how he lost the WWE title to Brock Lesnar in less than a minute and with just one F5, the New Day Member admitted that it was a bit of a disappointment for him:
“It was a bit of disappointment to go out there and have it go so quickly. On the biggest night of SmackDown. To have it end like that is a little bit disheartening, but at the end of the day, it is what it is. It’s not like I can do anything about it. “
Kofi wanted the chance to have an actual match with Brock for the WWE title on the first SD on FOX.

Though Kofi later shared his positive outlook to the whole situation saying that you first have to lose the championship to become a multi-time champion and he hopes to have more reigns with the world title in the future.
