Kurt Angle pulled from another wrestling convention due to alleged AEW ties

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has been pulled from another convention appearance due to its alleged ties with the upstart All Elite Wrestling promotion.

Angle was scheduled to make an appearance for the upcoming WrestleCade 2019 convention in Winston-Salem but the company has pulled him from the appearance according to the promoter Tracy Myers.

The convention will be taking place in November this year but reps contacted WrestleCade Weekend co-owner Brian Hawks and told them that Angle could not appear on the show.

The reason given for this cancellation was the convention’s association with AEW, however, WrestleCade says that they are not officially affiliated with any wrestling promotion, including AEW.

The deposit for his appearance was returned but unlike Starrcast II, this time WWE didn’t offer any replacement for the Hall Of Famer according to the promoter Myers.
