Kurt Angle reveals how many times he broke his neck in the ring

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is famously known for winning an Olympic Gold medal with “broken freaking neck.” He has competed in matches with the same problem as well.

Kurt Angle spoke to Chris Van Vliet, where he revealed every time he broke his neck during a WWE match. He first recalled the time he was hit on the head by Brock Lesnar with a chair and that broke his neck. The second time was when Lesnar ran across the ring once and Angle was on his back and he turned sideways and whiplash broke two of his vertebrae.

The third instance was when he faced Eddie Guerrero at WrestleMania where he did an Angle Slam off the top rope and landed on his head. The final instance was in January 2006 where he broke his neck right before his match against The Undertaker before No Way Out.

Angle is now a backstage producer in WWE and retired from in-ring competition.
