Kurt Angle was apparently close to returning at Bound For Glory

Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view was a night of memorable moments. This includes Ken Shamrock being inducted in the Impact Wrestling Hall Of Fame by The Rock. It seems another wrestling legend was close to appearing at the pay-per-view but it did not happen.

According to a report PW Insider, Impact Wrestling tried to get Kurt Angle to appear for the event. It was not revealed as to why Angle could not make it for the show or what he would have done, had he been in int. He is simply too busy with other ventures right now.

There are currently no more talks between the company and Kurt Angle and it is unknown whether they will talk again.

Angle was fired from his position as a producer by WWE. He returned to NXT to officiate Timothy Thatcher and Matt Riddle’s cage match and has not been seen since then.
