Lacey Evans Attacks WWE Legend’s Daughter

WWE legend Sgt. Slaughter’s daughter was not a fan of the attire of Lacey Evans as seen on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. She and Lacey had a war of words on Twitter.

Lacey Evans fires back at Sgt. Slaughter’s daughter

In her first match on TV in over two months, Evans faced Zelina Vega with a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match on the line. Unfortunately for Evans, her return was not successful and it was Vega who got the win and booked her place at the upcoming Premium Live Event in London.

During her return on SmackDown, Evans was seen wearing a drill instructor cover, similar to what Sgt. Slaughter wore during his storied career in the ring. Evans is a former U.S. Marine, having enlisted when she was 19 years old and served for five years.

On Twitter, Slaughter’s daughter blasted Evans for the look, saying it is not okay and branded the Sassy Southern Belle as a “poser.”

In response, Evans called herself Sgt. Slaughter’s “biggest fan,” and added that if the Hall of Famer’s daughter has a problem, she knows where to find her.

Much like his daughter, it appears that Slaughter himself isn’t a fan of Evans’ new attire. The official account for the former WWE World Champion has been retweeting messages from fans who have accused Evans of identity theft and called her a “fraud.”

It is quite ironical that Evans actually served in the Marines, whereas Sarge never did the same. A Freedom Of Information request a few years ago confirmed that Slaughter was never a marine, nor did he ever train with the Marines as he claimed for years in interviews. Despite never serving, WWE often heralded Slaughter’s story as genuine, even listing him in articles about the U.S. Military alongside those who actually served.
