Lacey Evans is back on our screens after she took some time off due to her pregnancy. Her return also saw a change in her wrestling persona, as she dropped her previous gimmick as the Southern Belle. Her new wrestling character is that of a Marine, and we got a look at what Evans actually looked like when she was in the Marine Corps. She is picking her nose in a humiliating photo.
Evans served in the military as a military police officer with the Special Reaction Team. She enlisted when she was 19 and served in the United States Marine Corps for five years. Not only that, but she also earned her degree and even started a construction business while she was on duty for the country. She got into wrestling via her Staff Sergeant, a promoter in the indies.
The Marine Corps celebrated its 247th birthday on November 10, 2020. In commemoration of the day, Evans shared some pictures of her from her days in the Marines. Take a look at the pictures below:
Lacey Evans returned to WWE TV after a year of absence on the April 8, 2022 edition of SmackDown. She made her return as a face character after vignettes aired about her showing her talking about her life. WWE went back on this whole change when she was drafted back to Raw and changed to a heel character again.
However, Evans was moved back to SmackDown a few weeks later. She made her in-ring return on June 10 on the blue brand, turning into a face again. She defeated Xia Li to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, which she wasn’t able to win at the event. Confusingly enough, WWE decided to turn her into a heel again by having Evans trash-talk fans and betray her tag team partner, Aliyah, on SmackDown after Money in the Bank.
