Ladder match made official for SmackDown’s FOX premiere

As SmackDown’s short-lived era on Tuesday nights came to an end after the recent episode, the WWE are unleashing a new era for the blue brand where it won’t be the “B” show anymore. After having already announced a tag-team bout for the October 4 episode, the WWE have also announced a ladder match between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens which will seemingly end their feud.

The Staples Center will witness the documents in a briefcase above the ring for which Owens and McMahon will compete. As per the stipulation, if Owens loses, he will remain fired from the company and drop his wrongful termination suit against McMahon. While if the Prizefighter manages to win the bout, then Shane McMahon will be forced to leave the WWE.

Here’s what the WWE has panned out for the show so far:

Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks

Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match

Appearances by several WWE Hall of Famers, including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Booker T, Lita, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Bill Goldberg, Trish Stratus, Mark Henry, and Jerry Lawler, among other stars
