Lana reacts to being blamed for the third party ban by WWE

Vince McMahon recently banned WWE Superstars from engaging with any third party platforms.

The WWE Chairman sent our a letter to the talents stating that they are to terminate any such activities within the next 30 days. After that, it would be considered a violation and necessary steps would be taken, which can be anything between a fine to termination of contract.

Lana blamed for WWE’s decision

The sudden edict left the Superstars as confused as the rest of the WWE Universe. Opining on the matter, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer wrote on the site’s message board that WWE Superstar Lana was the one responsible behind for the decision.

Meltzer pointed finger at Lana’s latest Bang Energy Drink promotions and said that they were the last straw for WWE.

“The straw that broke the camel’s back was CJ Perry’s Bang Energy drink commercials.”

She has been doing the commercials from her official social media accounts under the character name she portrays on WWE.

Lana responds to the claim

The claim by Meltzer went viral and eventually Lana took to Twitter to clear the air. She denied the claim with conviction, saying she was “not the straw that broke the camel’s back”.
