Shane McMahon made history this past Tuesday night when he announced the first ever Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match for the upcoming SmackDown exclusive PPV.
Though only 5 participants were announced for the upcoming match, unlike the traditional Money In The Bank matches which usually features 6 contenders.
However, it appears that the 6th spot will not be left vacant and the newly wed wife of former United Status Champion Rusev Lana will become the 6th participant for the match.
Known as the Ravishing Russian, Lana recently tweeted to Shane McMahon. In the tweet as seen below, she is seen asking the SmackDown Commissioner if she can negotiate to be put in the upcoming match:
Dear @shanemcmahon, can I please negotiate being put in the first ever MITB women’s match ? I’d like to be apart of history. Thank you. @WWE

While this doesn’t necessarily mean that she’ll be put in the upcoming matchup, considering that she has been wrestling at WWE Live Events in recent times, it’s likely that she’ll make her televised In Ring debut soon and get a spot a Money In The Bank too.
Currently Charlotte, Tamina, Becky Lynch, Carmella and Natalya are the 5 officialy announced participants for the upcoming historical match.
