Lars Sullivan Made Big Payment To WWE Before Release

It was recently reported that now former WWE superstar, Lars Sullivan was recently reported for a multitude of reasons. One of those being repulsive comments that Sullivan made towards minorities. Due to those comments, Sullivan had to pay 100,000 dollars and undergo sensitivity training. However, no one knew for certain if the fine was legit or not. Vince McMahon recently fired Lars Sullivan after a no-show.

 


 

Given the fact that Sullivan was recently released, one fan took to social media via Twitter to ask Dave Meltzer about the fine who insisted that it was, in fact, one-hundred percent legit, and that Lars paid the fine. You can view the full exchange below.

Sullivan, whose real name is Dylan Miley, was fined the substantial sum due to bigoted comments that he made in the past towards minority communities on a prominent bodybuilding message board. Sullivan made several posts from the years of 2007 to 2013 to target African Americans, Hispanics, Latinos, Women and Homosexuals. These comments bubbled back up to the surface once Sullivan was teased to debut on the main roster. Lars Sullivan revealed an ‘enemy’ on the WWE roster.

WWE issued the following statement regarding the comments that Sullivan made and the company the following. “WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide,” WWE said in a statement to SI.com. “Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. WWE will also facilitate meetings for Dylan with community organizations to foster further discussion around the power of social media and the impact of your words.”
