The reports of AJ Styles suffering an undisclosed injury last week had everybody concerned about his WrestleMania match with Shinsuke Nakamura.
However, as we noted before Styles was cleared for Mania after being evaluated backstage at Monday Night during Raw and now it appears that fans wouldn’t even have to wait till then to see him back in action.
Pwinsider is reporting that the WWE Champion is now being advertised for matches on this weekend’s Live Event from New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Though AJ won’t be working singles matches and instead he will be working in 8 men tag match. He will be teaming up with the New Day to face Chad Gable, Shelton Benjamin, Rusev and Aiden English.
This arrangement is likely to cut down on his wrestling time which should allow him to heal completely and be 100% while he walks on the WrestleMania stage to defend his WWE Championship.
