Latest on Seth Rollins’ injury, if his WrestleMania match is in jeopardy

Seth Rollins has been kept away from in-ring action since Royal Rumble and his status has kept fans worried about his WrestleMania match with Brock Lesnar.

However, the latest update from Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides some details on his condition and reveals that his bout with Lesnar is not in jeopardy.

According to the Newsletter, Rollins has been dealing with the injury from some time but he can still wrestle and WWE just wants him to be as close to 100% as possible for the upcoming PPV:

“His back has been hurting for some time. Leading into the Royal Rumble, he knew he needed to take time off after the show for it to heal. He could wrestle right now if needed, but it’s felt it’s better for him to rest and heal than to make it worse given his position at WrestleMania. The idea is they want him as close to 100 percent as possible for WrestleMania.”

Similar updates were provided on the Wrestling Observer Radio as well where Meltzer noted that the former WWE Champion ‘could wrestle tomorrow’ if it’s needed.

After this update, it’s confirmed that Seth will wrestle with Brock at the Show Of Shows and it’d be interesting to see if he returns to ring anytime prior to that as well.
