Johnny Gargano spun the wheel on this week’s episode of NXT. The wheel was seemingly tampered with and it stopped on Leon Ruff’s name. Gargano certainly approved of the result as he was set to defend his NXT North American Championship against Ruff.
Ruff came out to the ring in order to face Gargano. Former NXT North American Champion Damian Priest was at ringside, as Gargano continued to taunt him.
In an unexpected turn of events, Leon Ruff managed to get a surprise roll up pin on Gargano. He managed to get the three count and defeated him.
Ruff became the new NXT North American Champion as he celebrated his huge win with Damian Priest. Gargano was utterly shocked at the outcome.
